NEW FEATURE: Art Asia
What better way to kick off a new fair edition than to introduce the year's newest exhibition feature!
Art Melbourne welcomes a selective group of galleries from the Asia Pacific and Australian galleries representing Asian artists, to create a new and innovative exhibition platform entitled Art Asia. The sector is supported by Feature Sponsor and Education Partner Australia China Art Foundation, and will include galleries from Singapore, China, Hong Kong, and Pakistan.
ART MELBOURNE HIGHLY RECOMMENDS: Asian artists, and in particular those from China, dominate a new wave of the world's best-selling contemporary artists. Art Asia promises to be a site of discovery for the Art Melbourne visitor, making something seemingly unattainable, accessible. This is a slice of the international market that won't break the bank; a must see at this year's fair. |

Rebecca Hossack Art Gallery London, New York
It is easy to be in awe of Rebecca Hossack—she is a towering blonde with an old world elegance that exudes sophistication, a sort of Katharine Hepburn if you will. An advocate of the affordable art fair ethos, Rebecca champions the fair's vision of making art accessible internationally.
Rebecca speaks to Art Melbourne in an exclusive interview, explaining that "it’s not just about the money". READ MORE... |

The Children's Studio
ART MELBOURNE IS AN INSPIRING DAY OUT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY.
We are so excited about our fabulous partnership with The Song Room at Art Melbourne this year! For those who have not heard of them, The Song Room is a national not for profit group that truly brightens the futures of Australia’s most disadvantaged kids with free arts programs.
Art Melbourne is thrilled to have The Song Room team at this year's fair hosting The Children's Studio. Aimed at children of all ages, these creative interactive sessions are designed to stimulate your child's inner artist. Workshop details to be shared closer to the fair. |
