"You don’t need to be an art expert or a millionaire to enjoy and buy art. Art Melbourne helps put unarguably good Australian talent on the world stage in a forum accessible to everyone"

Will Ramsay, Founder, The Affordable Art Fair

"Art Equity enjoyed the Art Melbourne event immensely. The large appreciative audience was receptive and eager to learn more about our artists and were a joy to interact with. We were kept busy every day and achieved solid art sales throughout the show. We are already looking forward and planning for next years show."

Ralph Hobbs, Art Director, Art Equity

“This is the third time I have been involved as an artist and a gallerist. The show has provided invaluable connections and has been a great facilitator in forging sustainable relationships with collectors, curators and other artists. The Affordable Art Fair is a unique platform I believe enhances engagement with the arts and general public while contributing greatly to the city's cultural landscape”

Jasper Knight, Artist and Art Sydney Ambassador

"In an art world that is becoming increasingly elitist and pretentious it is a welcome relief to meet Will Ramsay. His Affordable Art Fairs, although mocked by many in the art world, have proven that when it counts to the people voting with their feet AAF triumphs"

Rebecca Hossack, Director of Rebecca Hossack Gallery London

“I took a Studio stand at the fair in 2009. At first I was a bit nervous about taking my own stand in this emerging self represented section as I had previously only shown my works through commercial galleries. I thought The Studio would be a good way to market my work, increase my mailing list and to get exposure to over 16,000 visitors over 4 days. The response to my work was overwhelming I sold 26 or the 30 works I took to the show and three commercial galleries approached me from Sydney and Melbourne. From this experience I gained gallery representation at Ali Yeldham’s Arthouse Gallery in Sydney – where I just had a sell-out solo exhibition!"
